Quit Your Job And Love Mondays

It was about 11 Years ago when I made the decision never to have a job again and here I am 11 Years on and I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. Yes I am very grateful to be a dad who gets to take my kids to school and collect them every day.

When I was at school I didn’t have the luxury of that and I think it would have made a big difference to me to have had my parents their daily. The great thing is I can just pick up my computer and do my work from anywhere it could be in bed like where I am now or I could be sitting in the living room with my family.

Or I could just sit in my home office and look out at the nice view from the victorian windows. The hardest part about quitting my job was the first few weeks not seeing that weekly paycheck. Yeah I had to use my brains and do a bit of work to get the cheques and paypal commissions rolling in but it worked.

The first money I made online was from a property website I had I sold a seminar ticket and got £100 commission and 1 landlords insurance policy plus a couple of credit card application fees. It was amazing I got those three commissions within 2 weeks of each other.

After that I progresses to affiliate marketing I started selling software products on Twitter and on my blog and Facebook. Then I even managed to pretty much automate the process that was really cool. Seeing my firs 40 Automated sales coming in while I was at a Live seminar In London for the weekend..

Yes the road wasn’t always easy have had so many problems with hosting accounts, A banned You Tube account. My Twitter account suspended for nearly 5 years it wasn’t all plain sailing I even got my Google adwords account shut down. Yeah that was the time when Google adwords decided to stop allowing people to promote affiliate products.

Instead of sending a nice email explaining this they just closed down hundreds of thousands of accounts practically overnight. Another one of my Internet Hurdles to get over. The great thing about life is balance and when you have bad stuff happen then some good stuff has to come along to balance the equilibrium.

Being able to go away to Greece And Bulgaria for 4 months and make commissions selling books daily without having to do any postage or packaging. Getting $1000 dollar commissions while on a webinar, on the beach out celebrating birthdays and anniversaries and coming home to $3000 and $4600 commissions. These are the things that motivate you like crazy.

When did you boss ever give you $4600 for doing no work while you where out at a restaurant and shopping? I can’t remember any bosses like that in my past life..

Life really is full of a series of choices and you have to decide what you really want. I am one of these people who follows my desires I do not let fear or indecision hold me back from what I want to do. When it comes to my business.
