Superbreak Introduces Summer Value in London This Summer
(PRWEB UK) 7 August 2011
London short break specialist, Superbreak has introduced a number of great value London packages for the summer, with the aim to save their customers time and money by pre-packaging hotel stays with sought after tickets to attractions and events throughout the capital. A snapshot of the company’s new additions include ‘A Royal Day’, London for Less, 2 night rail inclusive breaks and London attraction breaks all aiming to provide great value summer entertainment.
Already in its fifth year, Superbreak’s ‘London for Less’ programme has proven extremely popular over the years with online booking growth doubling this year alone. The package includes 2 night’s accommodation plus a free bonus item of an attraction, tour or dining ticket. The package is already proving popular this year with the introduction of the Hi-Life Diners Club Card as one of the bonus items, which gives customers a 12 month membership to the club offering 2 for 1 dining at a selection of restaurants across the country.
The summer savings also extend to Superbreak’s royal packages, which were first launched in 1993 and have been a significant revenue earner for the company since. This year is already proving to be no exception, with the added boost of the Royal wedding dress on display at Buckingham Palace which, following the world-wide media attention surrounding the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The tour operator has already sold over half of its packages since going on sale in April 2011.
Most popular so far include a range of hotel and attraction breaks to must-see attractions, such as the London Eye, London Zoo and Madame Tussauds. The strong partnerships with key London attractions has enabled the company to offer additional savings to its customers, particularly on the walk-up price of a number of major attractions and many including free fast track entry. The tour operator hopes that these London attraction breaks will attract families looking to entertain the children in the summer holidays, with the added bonus of avoiding the peak season queues and prices.
The York based tour operator has also extended their summer value offers to its rail breaks, allowing customers to save up to 40% on first class rail inclusive breaks. Breaks where rail travel has been added has seen an annual growth of 68% to date which is most likely due to the reduced price tickets on offer at Superbreak compared with the increasing cost of driving to the destination.
Khalid Amin, Online Marketing Manager for Superbreak said ‘London continues to be our top destination with thousands of passengers travelling with us each year. We are continuously looking to increase our portfolio of great value products in London, giving our customers the ability to tailor their break to individual needs and budgets.’
