What’s Important In 2020 For You?
The year 2020 is nearly upon us, it is a great time for reflection to look back and see what you have done, what you have focused on and achieved over the last few years or decades.
For me 2019 has been an absolute health challenge nightmare, thanks to tools automated systems and ideas my business has really came together over the last couple of years.
Unfortunately just when things seemed to be really ready to explode I had a spanner thrown in to the works, when I started getting a thyroid problem and really bad infections in my throat which I have not been able to get rid of.
This has rendered my voice pretty useless for a few months of this year, when it comes to creating your own tutorial videos this has been a pain in the butt to say the least. A gradual 25 years of driving and sitting constantly on my computer has caused me to slowly but steadily gain a lot of weight over the years.
Although I had a few smart comments about this regarding my throat problems, I know it was nothing to do with my weight , my throat problems began after being X-rayed on my Thyroid with no protection, while getting Mercury fillings removed, along with an incompetent dentist who gave me Mercury poisoning by not using proper protocols when removing my Mercury/Amalgam fillings.
As a young child I became overweight at the age of 12 after a long summer staying at my aunts being fed 4 meals a day and not being able to run about as thee garden was small.
At the time once I started getting smart comments suddenly from my parents and at school once I put about 6 stone on.
At that time I listened and believed many people and felt annoyed and useless for being this way, when I was 15 years old after a few insults from my father and a period of 6 months afterwards not talking to him I decided to make some changes.
I started cycling 30 to 60 miles per day on my bike. I joined a gym and went there 4 times per week. Within about 6 months I went from 14 stone to 8 stones.
The people who seemed to love giving me abuse about my weight all piled on the weight including my dad and his ex girlfriend.
The thing is once once you have proved people wrong and you realise you can be and do anything you decide to by taking action.
Any feelings that I had about weight comments etc went over my head like water off a ducks back, I kept the weight off till I was 26 but then a little bit of weight was put on over a period of time.
This year I made the decision, for myself for the way I feel and the things that I want to do that I have to get my shit together and go back onto a health plan.
First thing I need to do is figure out how to sort out my Thyroid problem and get rid of these constant infections (Which have been plaguing me now for over 2 years)
And then I am deciding which method of health plan to do, deciding between the gym or an indoor rowing machine and high end exercise cycle that gives you lots of cycling fitness classes online in your own home.
I don’t fancy going out in the rain daily and snow on my bike like I did as a 15 year old teenager, In case I kill myself so planned on something a little closer than home.
Only challenge I have is instead of losing 7 stone as I did as a teenager I realistically need to lose about 14 stone which is double what I did before.
For many years my main goal was investing, creating passive income streams online and getting to see my kids daily as they grow up.
Now in 2020 these are all still important, but being here to watch my kids finish growing up and seeing my grandkids is a new priority, which I need to acknowledge and take seriously if I want to be around in another 15 years.
My dad died 10 years ago on 27TH December 2009 at 63 years old, now at 45 if I want to hang around I need to start taking my health more seriously.
So health and family are high on my list, also I am planning on developing my business and the business of my clients so that we all have more time to do the things we love doing.
